Effects of Planets aspecting the Ascendent (1st house) in Vedic Astrology

If a planet (whether natural benefic or natural malefic) aspects the ascendent identical with its own sign, that confers happiness and wealth, apart from close relationship with the king. If the ascendent is not owned by the aspecting planet, a benefic then confers auspicious effects and a malefic gives evil results. When Sun aspects Ascendent - If the Sun aspects the ascendant, the native will be valorous, he will be irascible with female, be cruel, he will gain wealth from paternal side (from father or grandfather) and will serve the king. When Moon aspects Ascendent - If the Moon aspects the ascendent, he will be under the control of women. He will also be fortunate, very courteous, very wealthy and softy disposed. He will gain by dealing in water-born articles. When Mars aspects Ascendent - If Mars lends his aspect to the ascendent, one will be fond of valorous acts and battles. He will be irascible, will have severed relationship, be very righteous and will have a long penis. When Mercury aspects Ascendent - Should Mercury aspect the ascendant, the native will have rich knowledge of arts and will thereby gain. He will be quite intelligent, famous and honourable. When Jupiter aspects Ascendent - If Jupiter be the planet aspecting ascendent, one will be interested in religious observations, be honoured by the king, be famous and will be endowed with the company of virtuous peoples, elders and guests. When Venus aspects Ascendent - Venus aspecting the ascendent denotes that he will be addicted to many prostitutes, will have happiness of wealth and pleasures. And he will be youthful and beautiful in appearance. When Saturn aspects Ascendent - If Saturn aspects the ascendent, one will be troubled by heavy loads, travels and diseases, and be irascible. He will be attached to aged women or will be fond of seeking union with aged women. He will be devoid of happiness, be dirty and foolish.
