Parijata Yog

The dispositor of Lagna lord and navamsa lord of that dispositor must be in an angle or a trine, or in own or exalted sign to give Parijata Yog.

Parijata Yog is referred as the blessings of Celestial Coral Tree.

Definition

“The dispositor of the lord of the Lagna and the navamsa lord of that dispositor must be in an angle or a trine, own or exaltation sign.”

Description

“One will be a sovereign attentive to duty and engagements, of compassionate disposition, destined to be happy in the middle and latter portion of life, respected and obeyed by other kings, fond of war, and possessing elephants and horses.”

Notes

The difference in definition here with respect to the definition of Parvata Yog and Phaladipika’s version Kahala Yog is, that the designated planets can be either in an angle/trine or own/exaltation; they not necessarily have to be in both. If they are, it is even better and favourable.

This Yog belongs to the category of dispositor yogas. Here the dispositor(let say Mars) of the Lagna lord and the Navamsa dispositor of that planet(Mars), contributes towards the innate strength and favourable nature of Lagna lord. Hence empowering the Lagna.

See, Parvata Yog to understand the concept of dispositorship.
